Figure 1 - Comparison of Formed and Misformed Female Terminals
Intermittent or open connections in these connectors may be caused by misformed female terminals. Refer to Figure 1. Misformed terminals may be
identified by the foot of the terminal tongue being trapped under the core of the wire. To repair this condition replace the female terminal with terminal
P/N 12047680 (available in the terminal repair kit J-38125).
Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T6511 at .5 hour.
