Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle with suitable safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the following parts from the stabilizer links:

The upper nuts (8,25)
^
The upper washers (9,26)
^
The upper bolts (3,13)
^
The lower nuts (10,24)
^
The lower washers (11,23)
^
The lower bolts (16,20)
3. Remove the stabilizer links.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Assemble the following parts. Do not tighten.
1.1.
Install the stabilizer shaft link (12,22) to the bracket (1,6).
1.2.
Install the upper bolt (3,13) through the bracket (1,6) and the link (12,22).
1.3.
Install the stabilizer shaft link (12,22) to the stabilizer shaft (4).
1.4.
Install the lower bolt (16,20) through the stabilizer shaft (4) and the link (12,22).
2. Install the upper washers (9,26) and nuts (8,25).

Tighten the upper link nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the lower washers (11,23) and nuts (10,24)

Tighten the lower link nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
