5. Install the bolts and the nuts into the torsion bar support crossmember link assembly.

Tighten the link assembly nuts to 125 Nm (92 ft. lbs.).

6. Install the adjustment retainer plate and the bolt on both torsion bars.
7. Using the J 36202, increase the tension on the torsion bar.
8. Install the retaining plate and the adjustment bolt.
9. Set the adjustment bolt to 34 mm (1.3 inch).

10. Release the tension on the torsion bar until the load is taken up by the adjustment bolt.
11. Remove the J 36202.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Check the Z height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection Procedure in Suspension General Diagnosis. Check the front wheel alignment. Refer to

Measuring Wheel Alignment.
