Escalade AWD V8-6.2L (2009)
1. Install the lower control arm (4).
2. Install the lower control arm bolts (3).
3. Install the washers (2).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. Install the lower control arm retaining nuts (1) and tighten to 175 Nm(129 lb ft).
5. Install the lower ball joint in the steering knuckle.
Note: There are two styles of nuts. One style has a captured washer and the second style does not have a captured washer
6. Install the NEW lower ball joint retaining nut with the captured washer and tighten to 125 Nm(92 lb ft) or the nut without the captured nuts
tighten to 70 Nm(52 lb ft) plus an additional 90 degrees.
