Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

3. Install the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts and tighten to 200 Nm(148 lb ft).
4. Install the brake pad springs.

Note:  Install the brake pads in the same location noted during removal.

5. Install the brake pads.
6. Install the brake caliper to the bracket. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement (1500 Series)   (See: Front Brake Caliper Replacement (1500

Series))Front Brake Caliper Replacement (2500 Series)   (See: Front Brake Caliper Replacement (2500 Series)).

7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
8. Fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level with clean brake fluid, if necessary. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling   (See:

Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service and Repair/Procedures/Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling).

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair

).

3. Remove the brake pads. Refer to Front Disc Brake Pads Replacement (2500 Series)   (See: Brake Pad/Service and Repair/Front Disc Brake Pads

4. Remove the brake pad retaining springs.

5. Remove the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts (2).
6. Remove the brake caliper bracket (1).
