ACCUMULATOR/DEHYDRATOR SERVICE REPLACEMENT
MODELS AFFECTED: 1977-1984 DE VILLES, BROUGHAMS, ELDORADOS, SEVILLES, LIMOUSINES, AND COMMERCIAL CHASSIS
Some original design J-Tube style Accumulator/Dehydrator (A/D) Assembly service parts are no longer available. Original design A/D parts should be
used, when available. If an original design A/D is not available, service A/D P/N 12322992 in conjunction with a specific fitting package (adapter tube)
must be used. This two piece assembly, A/D and fitting package adapter tube, replaces the original one-piece J-Tube style A/D assembly. A/C hoses do
not require cutting or modification, but the fitting package adapter tube must be properly oriented to the A/D before final tightening.
The following A/D Application Chart lists the service part numbers for both the original design J-Tube A/D assembly as well as the fitting package
(adapter tube) to be used with Service A/D P/N 12322992 if the original design A/D is not available.
