Install AIR management valve.

17.

Position generator and support bracket onto engine; do not tighten bolts.

18.

Install A/C compressor bracket at water pump; do not tighten bolts.

19.

Install A/C compressor at brackets; do not tighten bolts.

20.

Connect electrical connectors.

21.

Install fan shroud and fan as on unit.

22.

Tension drive belts and tighten all accessory drive bracket bolts to specified torque.

23.

Install the A/C condenser and charge the refrigeration system (Eldorados and Sevilles only).

24.

Install power steering reservoir to fan shroud.

25.

Connect vapor hose to the fan shroud (Devilles and Broughams only).

26.

Install radiator.

27.

Install the lower splash shield (Eldorados and Sevilles only).

28.

Install cross braces (Devilles and Broughams only).

29.

Connect negative battery cable.

30.

Refill cooling system and check for leaks.

31.

Install air cleaner.

32.

Set ignition timing.

33.

Change oil and filter.

34.

Remove fender covers; close hood.

For warranty purposes, use Labor Operation No. J0850 at 7.9 hours (Eldorados and Sevilles) and 7.4 hours (Devilles and Broughams).
