This bulletin, which outlines the procedures for ordering replacement parts for wheels and wheel discs, is divided into two sections, as follows:
Section A:
Simulated Wire Wheel Discs (Option N91) Replacement Part Information.
Section B:
Wire Wheel (Option PH8) and Cast Aluminum Wheel (Option N90) Replacement Part Information.
A.Locking Simulated Wire Wheel Discs
The custom locking simulated wire wheel disc package (Option N91) contains the following:
1.
Four locking simulated wire discs
2.
Lock brackets
3.
Lock bolts
4.
Medallions
5.
A lock key wrench
6.
An ID/Registration Card
In addition to these parts, C-body packages contain 12 special flange nuts which are used to attach the lock brackets to the wheel assemblies.
Regular lug nuts are used to secure the lock bracket on E and K bodies. This bracket is usually assembled to the wheels at the factory while the
remaining locking simulated wire disc components are placed in the trunk for delivery.
At the time of delivery of a new vehicle by the carrier, the contents of the Option N91 package should be inspected for missing, damaged or
incorrect parts. A transportation claim must be filed for each of these parts and any discrepancies are to be noted on the delivery receipt.
Discrepancies should be handled in one of the following five manners:
1.
Lock Key Wrench Missing
If the lock key wrench is missing upon delivery of the vehicle from the factory or lost at the dealership after delivery, the dealer should send
the ID/Registration Card along with a check for $7.50 for the replacement lock key wrench to Norris Industries. A new lock key wrench will
be sent to the dealer.
2.
ID/Registration Card Missing
The dealer should provide Norris Industries with the color of the stripe on the lock key wrench. A new color coordinated ID/Registration
Card will be forwarded to the dealership.
3.
Lock Key Wrench Does Not Fit Lock Bolt
Dealer should send lock key wrench and ID/Registration Card to Norris Industries with a letter indicating the color of the lock bolt in the
center of the locking simulated wire disc. The proper lock key wrench and ID/Registration Card will be returned to the dealership.
4.
ID/Registration Card and Lock Key Wrench Both Missing
The dealer should provide the color of the lock bolt in the center of the simulated wire disc, along with a check for $7.50 made payable to
Norris Industries. The proper lock key wrench and ID/Registration Card will be forwarded to your dealership.
All orders to Norris Industries must be made on dealership stationery and must include an authorized signature and dealer code. Requests should be
forwarded to the following address:
Norris Industries, Inc. Automotive Trim Division 39600 Orchard Hill Place Novi, Michigan 48054
