Diesel MFI Pump: Service and Repair
Fuel Inlet Connection Washer, Replace

1.

Remove air cleaner and install cover J-26996-1 or equivalent.

2.

Clean any dirt from area.

3.

Remove fuel inlet pipe, Fig. 58.

4.

Remove inlet connection and discard washer.

5.

Reverse procedure to install. Using new washer, install inlet to pump and torque to 33 ft. lbs.
