Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
System Check
1. With the engine running at fast idle and the temperature programmed for 60°F, press the AUTO button on the Electronic Climate Control (ECC)
panel.

Cooling fans should come on.
2. With the engine warmed up and running at a slow idle, the cooling fan should come on before the temperature indicator comes on.
Troubleshooting Hints
If the cooling fans do not run at any speed:

Check grounds G100 and G106.
^
Check BLK wires (150) between cooling fan relay and fan control module and ground for continuity.

Check fusible link E.
^
Check RED/WHT wire (2) between fusible link and fan control relay.
