Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

Fig. 8 Timing case oil seal removal

1.

Remove crankshaft pulley and vibration damper.

2.

Remove oil seal with tools J-1859-03 and J-23129 or equivalents, Fig. 8.

3.

Lubricate new oil seal with engine oil and install with tool J-29662 or equivalent.

4.

Install crankshaft puller and vibration damper.
