Checking Trim Heights
There are two choices when selecting springs to correct a lean:
one is to replace the taller spring with a shorter spring, the other is to
replace the shorter spring with a taller spring. To correctly make this
choice, the trim heights should be checked, see Figure 5. If the trim
height is at the low end of the specification, the shorter spring should
be replaced with a taller spring; if the trim height is at the high end of
the specification, the taller spring should be replaced by a shorter
spring.
