Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
Pressure Cycling Switch

1.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Under normal conditions, it is not necessary to discharge system refrigerant during this procedure, as 
switch unit fitting is supplied with a Schrader valve.

2.

Disconnect switch harness connection. Unscrew unit from accumulator.

3.

When installing new switch unit, install new oiled O-ring and torque switch to 7.5 ft. lbs. Be careful not to over tighten switch.

4.

Reconnect harness and battery cable.
