Spray lubriplate lubricant grease, P/N 1052349, or equivalent into the opening alongside the tilt lever, aiming at the universal joint. See Figure 2.
Turn steering wheel one full turn while applying grease.

Hold tilt release lever in the released position and move steering wheel from full up to full down position 4 to 8 times.

If squeak persists, repeat step 2.

For warranty purposes, use Operation T6176 at .2 hours.
