A new design intake manifold end seal has been developed to improve the integrity of this joint. The new design shown in Figure 1 has reinforced
flanges to more positively retain the seal in position. A pair of these revised seals (one front and one rear) are available by ordering P/N 3635212.
Transverse Applications:
The revised seals, P/N 3635212, may be used as supplied on all transverse engine applications and should be used instead of the end seals supplied with
the currently available intake manifold resealing kits or the intake manifold gasket kits. Eventually the revised end seals will be included in the gasket
kits.
