Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

Air Cleaner Assembly

Air Cleaner Mounting

DO NOT overtighten the wing nuts holding the air cleaner upper housing to the lower housing.

Insure that the air cleaner to throttle body gasket is in place and that the air cleaner upper housing is properly seated and secured.  A missing or
mispositioned gasket may cause engine noise or may allow unfiltered air to enter the engine.
