Chart 2, No Blower Operation
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Body Control Module (BCM) sends a variable voltage signal to the power module which is then amplified and sent to the blower motor. The
BCM monitors the blower feedback voltage so that the signal can be adjusted to achieve the desired blower motor speed.
1. This step checks if the power module is receiving a voltage signal from the BCM.
2. This step checks the power module ground circuit.
3. This step checks the power module voltage supply circuit.
4. This step checks if the blower motor is receiving voltage from the power module.
5. This step checks for a high draw blower motor which damaged the power module.
