If the connector or the wiring on the SIR module is damaged, replace the module. Handle the module following the instructions in Service
Bulletins 319003 and 319004.

If the I/P wire harness connector is damaged, repair the connector following the instructions in Section 9J of the Service Manual. Electrical
components and tools are part of the J-38125A Terminal Repair Kit.

Even if there is no visible damage, and/or the repair in Step B above has been done, cut the two rosebuds from the SIR module wiring
retainers as shown in Figure 1, and route the wiring below the bracket as shown in Figure 2. This will move the connectors away from the
stud and prevent any potential damage to the connectors or wiring.

Reinstall the upper I/P trim pad. Enable the SIR system.
