Oil Filter Adapter
OIL FILTER ADAPTER
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Upper radiator hose.
4. Oil pressure switch connector.
5. Cooling line bracket.
6. Cooling lines from adapter.
7. Oil pressure switch.
8. Oil filter adapter.
9. Oil filter.
NOTE: Two square cut seals are used to seal the oil passages between the oil filter adapter and the engine block. Care must be used when installing
the seals to be sure they are located against the adapter seats. These seals should be replaced whenever the adapter is removed from the block.
IMPORTANT: The transverse engine seals are a larger diameter than those previously used in the longitudinal engine and are not interchangeable.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Oil filter adapter.
TIGHTEN

Adapter bolts to 20 Nm.
2. Oil filter.
3. Oil pressure switch.
4. Cooling lines to adapter.
5. Cooling line to bracket.
6. Oil pressure switch connector.
7. Upper radiator hose.
8. Negative battery cable.
9. Air cleaner.
10. Refill engine coolant.
