1.
Install J 33382 as shown with apply pin (551) for reverse servo, apply pin (561) for 1-2 servo.

When installing tool, align slot in case with tab of tool then once tool is down to snap ring groove for snap ring (543 or 553) rotate tool to
lock it in place.
2.
Apply 27 N-m torque (20 lb. ft.)
3.
Check pin length with J 33382

"GO" side will NOT slide under the head

pin is too short
^
"NO-GO" side WILL slide under the head
-
pin is too long
*"GO" side will slide under head and "NO-GO" will not - pin is correct
4.
Correct the pin length as required from Figure 4.
