CLEAN

Case and side cover gasket surfaces.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New gaskets on case, retain with petroleum jelly.
2. Side cover, bolts and nuts.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolts and nuts to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
3. To reassemble, reverse removal steps 1 to 31 listed above.
TIGHTEN
^
# 1 insulator bolt to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
^
Cradle to cradle mounting bolts, all positions to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
^
Upper transaxle mount bracket stud bolts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
^
Side (front) transaxle mount bracket stud bolts to 70 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
^
Transaxle mount nuts to 45 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
^
Stabilizer mount bolts to 50 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).
^
Stabilizer link bolt to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
^
Ball joint nut to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).
^
Wheel lug nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
4. Refill transaxle fluid to proper level.
