Control Arm Bushing: Service and Repair

Fig. 9 Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement

When replacing lower control arm bushings, refer to Fig. 9.

1. Remove lower control arm as outlined under Control Arm/Service and Repair.
2. Install driver, tool No. J 35561-1, receiver No. J 35561-2 and installing cup No. J 35561-3, or equivalents.
3. Press out bushing.
4. Lubricate new bushing with rubber lube.
5. Install tools, then press in new bushing.
6. Install lower control arm.
