3. Raise the vehicle and support. 

4. Connect the front cable housing (2) to the intermediate cable (1) at the cable clip.
5. Lower the vehicle. 

6. Seat the grommet in the floor pan.
7. Install carpet into place.
8. Install the left front carpet retainer.
9. Adjust the parking brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Cable Service/Adjustment.
