Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Loosen both intake air duct clamps at the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) and air cleaner.
2. Remove the intake air duct from air cleaner and rotate the intake air duct upwards around the MAF sensor (1).
3. Remove the intake air duct by pulling upwards and inboard.
Installation Procedure
1. Rotate the intake air duct down.
Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the intake air duct on to the air cleaner cover and MAF sensor (1).
Tighten
Tighten both air cleaner duct clamps to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
