2. Press the crankshaft balancer in place using the J41998-B.
3. Clean the crankshaft balancer bolt threads.
4. Apply engine oil to the crankshaft balancer bolt threads.
5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
Install the crankshaft balancer bolt.
1. First Pass
Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
2. Final Pass
Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt an additional 120 degrees using the J45059.
