7. Remove the brake pedal assembly nuts (1).
8. Remove the brake pedal assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the brake pedal assembly.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the brake pedal assembly nuts (1) and tighten to  16 Nm (12 lb ft).
3. Install the power vacuum brake booster. Refer to Power Vacuum Brake Booster Replacement   (See: Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake

Booster/Service and Repair).
