Sunroof / Moonroof Panel: Description and Operation

SUNROOF REAR WINDOW INITIALIZATION PROCESS

Sunroof Rear Vent Window Initialization

IMPORTANT:  Completely perform the Initialization Process, then completely perform the Teach Module Process.

1. Press and hold the rear sunroof switch in the open position and the rear sunshade switch in the close position for 6 seconds.
2. Release both buttons.
3. Press the rear sunroof switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.
4. Press the rear sunshade switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.
5. Press and hold the front sunroof switch in the open position and the front sunshade switch in the close position for 6 seconds.
6. Release both buttons.
7. Press the front sunshade switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.
8. Press the front sunroof switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.

Teach Module Process

IMPORTANT:  Completely perform the Initialization Process, then completely perform the Teach Module Process.

Within 3 seconds of initializing the front sunroof, press the front sunroof close switch 3 times. Hold the front sunroof close switch after you press the
switch for the third time. At this point, the module enters the Teach Mode.
1. The front sunroof and the front sunshade will move to the full-open position.
2. After the sunroof reaches the full-open position, the sunroof will begin to close.
3. When the front sunroof reaches the half-closed position, the front sunshade will close.
4. The rear sunshade also will open and then close.
5. After the sunroof and the sunshade have fully opened and closed, the Teach Process is complete.

SUNROOF REAR VENT WINDOW SUNSHADE INITIALIZATION

IMPORTANT:  Perform all initializations with the engine running.

1. Press and hold the rear tilt button in the closed position.
2. Wait 6 seconds or more. If the sunroof is not already in the closed position, the sunroof will move to the closed position and stall.
3. When the sunroof/sunshade have each stalled in the closed position, the sunroof and the sunshade are initialized. This will happen automatically if

the rear close button is held continuously.

IMPORTANT:  Press the rear shade button until the rear shade stalls in the closed position.

SUNROOF FRONT WINDOW/SUNSHADE INITIALIZATION PROCESS

Initialization Process

IMPORTANT:  Completely perform the Initialization Process, then completely perform the Teach Module Process.

1. Press and hold the sunroof switch in the open position and the sunshade switch in the close position for 6 seconds.
2. Release both buttons.
3. Press the sunshade switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.
4. Press the sunroof switch in the close position until the motor stalls in the close position.

Teach Module Process

IMPORTANT:  Completely perform the Initialization Process, then completely perform the Teach Module Process.

Within 3 seconds of initializing the sunroof, press the sunroof close switch 3 times. Hold the sunroof close switch after you press the switch for the
third time. At this point, the module enters the Teach Mode.

1. The sunroof and the sunshade will move to the full-open position.
2. After the sunroof reaches the full-open position, the sunroof will begin to close.
3. When the front sunroof reaches the half-closed position, the front sunshade will close.
4. After the sunroof and the sunshade have fully opened and closed, the Teach Process is complete.
