SRX AWD V8-4.6L VIN A (2004)
4. Caution: Refer to Compressed Valve Spring Caution in Service Precautions.
Swing the arm over the valve spring retainer and tighten the swivel nut of the J44211 (2) down only enough to allow access for installation of the
valve locks.
5. Using a magnet, position the valve locks to the valve stem retainer groove. Grease can be used to hold the locks in place.
6. Remove the swivel nut and arm of the J44211 (2).
7. Relieve the air pressure to the cylinder being serviced.
8. Remove the J39313 (1) from the spark plug hole.
9. Remove the base plate of the J44211 (2).
10. Install the spark plug.
11. Repeat removal steps 7-14 and installation steps 1-11 on any other cylinders being serviced.
12. Install the right camshafts.
13. Raise and support the vehicle.
14. Remove the EN 46326 (1).
15. Install the starter.
