SRX AWD V8-4.6L VIN A (2004)
1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Connect both connectors (2,5) to the left and right front end sensors (3,4).
3. Install both CPA's (1,6) to the left and right front end sensor connectors (2,5).
4. Close front hood.
5. Install the SIR fuse into the right rear fuse center (1).
6. Install the right rear fuse center cover.
7. Position the carpet back under the right rear seat.
8. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.
9. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check -
Restraint Systems.
