Door Control Module Replacement

DOOR CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the door trim panel. When the battery or the power has been removed from the front door module, the front door module will need to be

reprogrammed after power is restored and all repairs are completed.

IMPORTANT:  This vehicle is equipped with express up, torque sensitive window on the front door windows.

2. Remove the door control module (1) by releasing the retainer tabs (2).

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the control module (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the control module (2).

2. Snap the door module (1) onto the mounting studs (2).
3. Install the door trim panel.
4. Reprogram the front door module. Refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function.
