3. Place the pinion cage into a press.
4. Remove the pinion shaft and bearing from the cage using the J 45006 and a hydraulic press.

5. Remove the spacer from the pinion shaft.

6. Install the J 22912-01 (2) onto the pinion shaft, under the inner-bearing race.
7. Place the pinion shaft in a press to remove the bearing from the shaft.
8. Install the J 45006 (1) and press the bearing from the pinion shaft.
