Important:
Wipe affected areas of the front seat adjuster assembly with a clean, dry cloth after performing Step 4.
4.
Remove rust from the front seat adjuster assemblies with Scotch-Brite(TM) General Purpose Pad Maroon, P/N 051131-07447 (or equivalent).
5.
Prime the rusty areas with one coat of Rust-Oleum Rusty Metal Primer(R) (or equivalent) using a nylon paint brush.
6.
Apply black, brush-on Rust-Oleum(R) (or equivalent) rust-preventive paint to surface of front seat adjuster assemblies. Follow directions and dry
times indicated on the paint can.
7.
Remove the protective cloth or plastic from the seat back, seat cushion, armrest, head restraint, and seat trim.
8.
Remove the drop cloth or plastic between the seat frame and the front seat adjuster assembly.
9.
Install the front seats in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement- Bucket in SI.
