STS RWD V8-4.6L VIN A (2006)
2. Remove the 2 outer bolts and loosen the 2 inner bolts securing the armrest assembly to the console.
3. Slide the armrest out in order to remove it.
Installation Procedure
1. Locate the armrest to the center console.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the 4 bolts securing the armrest to the console.
Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
3. Install the console end panel. Refer to Center Console End Panel Replacement (See: ) .

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the upper console trim. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Upper (See: ) .
2. Remove the shifter bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (See: ) .
3. Move the driver and passenger front seat in order to access the retaining bolts.
4. Remove the retaining bolts.
