STS RWD V8-4.6L VIN A (2006)
1. Install the fan bracket to the engine.
2. Install but DO NOT tighten the fan bracket to engine block bolts.
3. If necessary, with the aid of an assistant, tap the engine ignition until the fan bracket to crankshaft balancer bolt holes are accessible.
4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the fan bracket to crankshaft balancer bolts.

Tighten the fan bracket to crankshaft balancer bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the fan bracket to engine block bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the engine cooling fan.
