Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front compartment sight shield as necessary.
2. Remove the oil level indicator.
3. Loosen the oil level indicator tube bolt.
4. Pull the oil level indicator tube from the crankcase.
Installation Procedure
1. Replace the oil level indicator tube O-ring.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube.
3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
4. Install the oil level indicator.
5. Install the front compartment sight shield as necessary.
