Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (LH2 Heavy Duty Cooling)

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47719) .
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
3. Using the J 38185, disengage the tension on the hose clamp and remove the radiator outlet hose from the thermostat housing.
4. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the support bracket.

5. Using the J 38185, disengage the tension on the radiator outlet hose (1) clamp.
6. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose (1) from the after boil coolant pump.
