Energy Absorber Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia.
2. Remove the emergency lock cylinder cable (3) from the rear compartment latch.

3. Remove the push-in fasteners (2) attaching the energy absorber (1) to the rear bumper extension.
4. Remove the energy absorber (1) from the bumper extension.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the energy absorber (1) to the bumper extension.
2. Install the emergency lock cylinder cable (3) to the rear compartment latch.
