XLR V8-4.6L VIN A (2006)
8. Grasp the compartment closeout panel and pull open with one hand. Use your other hand to assist one of the closeout outer panels to an open
position.
9. Loosen the hinge bolts (2) and the bumpers (3) on the compartment closeout panel hinge.
10. Apply LOCTITE(TM) Blue, GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
11. Adjust the closeout panel as necessary.
Tighten the hinge bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
12. Grasp the closeout panel and push closed with one hand. Use your other hand to assist one of the closeout outer panels to a closed position.
