Astro Van AWD V6-4.3L VIN X (2003)
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lower half of the oil level indicator tube to the engine.
2. Apply sealer, GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent, on the upper oil level indicator tube to the area where the tube fits into
the lower half.
3. Install the oil level indicator tube upper half to the lower half.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Secure the engine oil level indicator tube to the transmission fluid fill tube with the bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
5. Install the oil level indicator.
6. Install the engine cover.
