Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve and/or Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve from the vacuum brake booster.
2. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose clamp at the check valve.
3. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve from the hose.
4. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (RPOs LY2/LY6)  (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake

5. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine.
6. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose from the vehicle.
