Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the fuel sender.
2. Place the fuel sender on a clean work surface.
3. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) from the module connector.

4. Remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip.

IMPORTANT:  Extreme care must be used when disengaging the locking tabs on the reservoir, failure to do so may result in the sender being
unusable.
