ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS
Some owners of 1987 and 1988 Beretta, Corsica vehicles may express dissatisfaction with brake pedal effort. Lower pedal effort can be accomplished by
replacing the original front brake pads with a new lining material. Customers should be advised that some brake squeal may be associated with the new
lining material, particularly in warm weather and periods of heavy brake usage. The new linings are to be used for pedal effort complaint vehicles only
and not as a general replacement part. DO NOT refinish the rotors when installing the new pads unless absolutely necessary due to external damage.
Light surface rust and circumferential grooves in the rotor faces up to a depth of 0.015 inch, caused by the original pads, will not adversely affect brake
performance.
