1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove air inlet duct from Throttle Body Injection (TBI) unit.
3.
Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
4.
Disconnect necessary vacuum hoses and electrical wiring.
5.
Disconnect fuel line, then TBI linkage.
6.
Remove power steering pump and position aside.
7.
Raise and support front of vehicle.
8.
Remove accelerator and T.V. cable bracket.
9.
Disconnect heater hose from intake manifold.
10.
Lower vehicle.
11.
Remove intake manifold attaching nuts and bolts.
12.
Remove intake manifold.
13.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque intake manifold attaching nuts and bolts to specifications, following sequence given in Fig. 3.
