Fuel Modular Sender Flow
REMOVAL
1. Before servicing the fuel pump the fuel system pressure must be relieved.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Raise the car on a hoist.
4. Drain fuel and remove the fuel tank.
5. Remove modular fuel assembly by holding down and remove snap ring from designated slots on the retainer.
NOTE: The modular fuel sender assembly may spring up from its position. When removing the assembly from the fuel tank, be aware that the
reservoir bucket is full of fuel. The modular fuel sender assembly must be tipped slightly during removal to avoid damage to the float. Discard fuel
into a approved container.
