Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Discharge A/C system.
3. Drain cooling system.
4. Hoist car.
5. Heater hoses at heater.
6. Evaporator lines at evaporator core.
7. Drain tube elbow.
8. Right and left hush panels, steering column trim cover.
9. Heater outlet and glove box.
10. Heater core.
11. Screws holding defroster vacuum actuator to module case.
12. Evaporator cover and evaporator core.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Evaporator core and evaporator cover.
2. Defroster vacuum actuator to module case.
3. Heater core.
4. Heater outlet and glove box.
5. Right and left hush panels, steering column trim cover.
6. Drain tube elbow.
7. Evaporator lines at evaporator core.
8. Heater hoses at heater.
9. Lower car.
10. Fill cooling system.
11. Negative battery cable.
12. Evacuate and charge A/C system.
