The coolant temperature gauge is a 13 segment bar graph display. The coolant temperature information comes over the serial data link. The coolant
temperature sender resistance changes with engine temperature. If the temperature sensor is defective, the temperature symbol will flash. If the engine
metal temperature switch is closed, all bars, associated symbols and the red warning segments will flash.
