Coolant Level Indicator Lamp: Testing and Inspection
Test M: Low Coolant Indicator Does Not Light
Sensor Locations - Typical
Disconnect YEL(68) wire from the low coolant sensor. Turn the ignition switch to the "RUN" position and observe the low coolant indicator.
1. If the low coolant indicator lights, replace the low coolant sensor.
2. If the low coolant indicator does not light, check the YEL and YEL/BLK(68) wire and instrument cluster printer circuit for a short to ground. If
good, replace the instrument cluster.
