Parts required to complete this campaign are to be obtained form General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO). To ensure these parts will be
obtained as soon as possible, they should be ordered from GMSPO on a C.I.O. order with no special instruction code, but on an advise code (2).
The original transaxle assembly must be placed in the replacement transaxle container and returned through normal GMSPO channels as soon as the
repairs are completed.

Service Procedure

1.

Raise vehicle on a hoist and inspect transaxle identification nameplate.

If transaxle Julian Date information indicates 258, 259, 262, 263, 264 or 292, the transaxle MUST BE REPLACED; go to step 2.

If transaxle Julian Date information is other than listed above. DO NOT REPLACE the transaxle; go to Step 4.

2.

Replace transaxle assembly. See appropriate 1995 Service Manual, Section 7A, for the transaxle replacement procedure.

3.

Remove transaxle assembly must be crated in the original shipping container and returned in the usual manner with the appropriate information
included.

Note:

Transaxle cores must have a completed Product Feedback form. The Product Feedback form MUST include the VIN, mileage and campaign
number. This information will aid in the timely processing of transaxle cores.

4.

Install Campaign Identification Label.

CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL

Each vehicle corrected in accordance with the instructions outlined in this Product Campaign Bulletin will require a "Campaign Identification Label."
Each label provides a space to include the campaign number and the five (5) digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service. This
information may be inserted with a typewriter or a ball point pen.

Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for
periodic servicing by the owner. When installing the new Campaign Identification Label, be sure to install the clear protective covering. Additional
Campaign Identification Labels can be obtained from VISPAC Incorporated by calling 1-800-269-5100 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST).
Ask for Item Number S-1015 when ordering.

Apply "Campaign Identification Label," only on a clean dry surface.
