Blazer 2WD V6-4.3L VIN X (2004)
1. Install the striker and shim(s) to the roof panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolts retaining the striker to the roof panel.
3. Adjust the striker using the procedure below:

Tighten the bolts to a sung fit.

Close the door to self align striker.
*
Check for door fit.
*
Add or remove shims as required (maximum of 3).
Tighten the striker bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
