8. Remove the heater outlet hose from the retaining clip at the engine water outlet.
9. Open the outlet heater hose retaining clip above the right side valve cover. Use a flat bladed tool to open the clip from the bottom.
10. Remove the outlet heater hose from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Apply lubricant, GM P/N 9985662, to each end of the outlet heater hose.
2. Install the outlet heater hose to the vehicle.
IMPORTANT:When installing new outlet heater hose, place the clamp on the hose before installing the hose to the vehicle.
